Share Your Enthusiasm - Create a Team!


Why form a team? Here are some good reasons:


  1. 1.*It's more fun to train with a team.

  2. 2.*It's more rewarding to race as a team.

  3. 3.*Teammates inspire and motivate each other before and during the race.

  4. 4.*A team can be a way for you to provide moral support for a friend who is a     cancer survivor.

  5. 5.*Best of all, by bringing friends and family into your team, you raise more money     for the Cure, and which will help us all reach our ultimate goal of eradicating breast cancer!

  6. 6.*It's easy! We provide you with step-by-step guides which will get your team set up in no time!

It's so easy.


Your company/organization can join in the Race on October 9th. Team packets will be available on or about August 15th! The packet will contain information on how to form a team and all about the awards!  Please call Karen Johnson 940-696-1392 or e-mail at by clicking HERE for a team packet.


Awards will be given to largest teams in:


  1. 1.•Corporation (100 or more employees)

  2. 2.•Large Businesses (26-99 employees)

  3. 3.•Small Business (25 and under employees

  4. 4.•Sheppard AFB

  5. 5.•Youth

  6. 6.•Church

  7. 7.•College/University

  8. 8.•Friends for Friends

Look over the packet, and if you are unable to develop a team please give the information to someone in your organization so they might be able to put together a team to represent you.


Team Registration must be postmarked by September 24, 2010.


Enter our Best Team Sign/Banner Contest

The team with the best sign/Banner will have their photograph on next year's Komen Wichita Falls website.

There will be thousands of spectators lining the course to cheer you and your team on. Make your team stand out! Make a statement about who you are, what your team stands for. After all, you and your team have chosen to run on behalf of one of the world's most worthwhile causes. Create a unique sign for your team. Carry it during the race for all to see. Judges will be watching as your team runs by. They will decide which team has created the most interesting sign/banner.

After you finish the race, go to the Entertainment Stage, where the team with the winning sign will be announced and presented with an award plaque.
