Schedule of Race Day Events

6:30-7:30am Registration

                      Sponsor Expos

7:20am          Aerobic Warm-up

7:50am          Release of “White Angels”

8:00am          One Mile Run/Walk Begins

8:30am          Start 5k Run/Walk

9:30am          Awards and Prize Presentation

Race Location

Between 6th and 7th Streets on Lamar, east of the Wichita County Courthouse.  Parking available in the First Wichita Bld. Parking Garage (Big Blue Bank)

The Courses

• The 1 Mile Run/Walk is an out and back course on Lamar Street.  Both events are coed and start and finish adjacent to the WIchita County Courthouse in downtown Wichita Falls. (click here for map)

•  The 5k (3.1 miles) course is USATF certified TX04046ETM  The race starts and finishes at 6th and Lamar adjacent to Wichita County Courthouse in downtown Wichita Falls and will be self timed.

1. • NOTE:  For the safety of all participants, rollerblades and pets are discouraged from participating in this event.  Thank you for your cooperation.
   

About “White Angels”
New this year! “White Angels”.  We will be releasing white doves this year in honor or memory of a friend or loved one.  For More information click HERE.

Awards and Door Prizes

Awards for the top three in each category for the 5k race:

     *Survivors

     *Females

     *Males

     *Youth Under 18

       No duplication of awards

Door prizes (including 1 roundtrip air transportation on American Airlines or American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous US. Limit (1) ticket per household, must be present to win) will be drawn and given away from bib numbers immediately following awards.  Must be present to win. Limit (1) per household.
